Happy Hump Day my lovely readers! I have another quick post for you all today, this week is crazy busy for me. I hope to catch up on my blog reading and commenting tomorrow and I can't wait to see what you all have blogged about this week!
Today I have another vintage Halloween Streetwear for you all called Monster Mash. Monster Mash is from the same collection as Oct 31st and is as rare, if not even more rare than Oct 31st is. The fact that Oct 31st popped up on eBay was a miracle but then Monster Mash popped up a few weeks later and I was absolutely awestruck! After another pretty hefty bidding war, Monster Mash became mine and joined Oct 31st in my Streetwear helmer drawer. Oct 31st and Monster Mash are probably two polishes that I never thought I would see in my lifetime so the fact that they showed up on eBay around the same time was pretty fantastic. The moral of the story is never give up on those lemmings folks! You never know when they might show up.
Anyways, Monster Mash is a fantastic green glitter polish with different shades and shapes of green glitter including bar glitter and little hex glitter as well as microglitter. There's even a touch of black microglitter in there, which seems to be on par with a lot of other special Streetwear glitters (namely Oct 31st, Black Widow and FX Flash green). I chose to wear Monster Mash on its own but I'm sure it would have looked awesome layered as well. I estimate that this polish came out sometime during the late 90's and it was still good as new. 2 coats would have been sufficient enough to cover the nail in real life but I did 3 just in case.
Here's 3 coats of Streetwear Monster Mash. Enjoy!
What do you guys think? Do you have any vintage Streetwears? Any other vintage Halloween polishes you've held onto over the years?

Revlon Top Speed LE Halloween 2012 - Haunted Heart
Happy Tuesday my lovelies! Thanks for all the well wishes on my Torts midterm yesterday, I survived it so that's definitely a step in the right direction =)
Today I have the other polish I picked up from the Revlon Top Speed Sweetly Sinister collection, Haunted Heart. Now, if Wicked Star didn't convince you of this collection's awesomeness, maybe this one will! Haunted Heart is an AWESOME bright orange with greenish-yellow shimmer throughout. This one is so glowy and fantastic, I just can't get enough! The formula was a bit on the thick side just like Wicked Star, but I didn't have any problems with application. 2 thin coats and I was good to go! You can still see a bit of the brushstrokes but it really doesn't look frosty IRL. Just shimmery and glowy!
So here's 2 coats of Revlon Haunted Heart. Enjoy!
What do you guys think? Yay or nay?
Hope everyone has a fantastic Tuesday!! And don't forget about my Halloween Giveaway Spooktacular, there's only one week left to enter!!

Dollish Polish Vampire's Coven
Happy Monday my friends. Ugh, I have my Torts midterm today and I am so not looking forward to it. We got through an entire textbook in the first half of the semester so our midterm is on 17 chapters of info. I am basically delirious from studying at this point! Anyways, to cheer myself up on this cold and dreary October Monday, I have one of my favorite indie Halloween polishes - Dollish Polish Vampire's Coven!
Dollish Polish's Halloween collection this year is based on The Nightmare Before Christmas, one of the greatest movies of all-time IMHO. What a perfect theme to base a Halloween collection on! Can't wait to show you guys the rest of them too (or as many as I can get through this month with all the other Halloween polishes I have). This one is based on that little coven of vampires who move around with umbrellas in the movie =) Out of the entire collection, Vampire's Coven seems one of the more popular ones, always selling out quicker than most of the others.
Anyways, Vampire's Coven is a red and purple chunky glitter polish with sparse bits of gold micro glitter in a sheer black jelly base. This is definitely a layering polish so I layered 2 coats of Vampire's Coven over Revlon Devil's Lure, a deep vampy red from Revlon's 2011 Halloween collection. The formula of Vampire's Coven was fantastic, no problems here! I do like this combo but next time I will layer it over a red that is a bit brighter and less black. Although, I think you could put this over just about anything and it would look amazing!
Here's 2 coats of Dollish Polish Vampire's Coven over Revlon Devil's Lure. Definitely click these to enlarge so you can check out the glitter! Enjoy!
What do you guys think?
Thanks for stopping by today everyone! Hope your Monday isn't too awful =) Don't forget to check out my Halloween Giveaway Spooktacular if you haven't already! See you all tomorrow for more Halloween goodness!

Retro Sunday Squared - Vintage Streetwear Oct 31st!
Happy Retro Sunday Squared everyone!! All this month, Dana at Polished Claws Up and I have decided to show you some of our best vintage Halloween polishes and we are so excited to bring you guys vintage Revlon Streetwears today =) If you are new to my blog, Revlon Streetwear is a brand that was available in drugstores in the late 90's-early 00's and is one of my favorite vintage polish brands of all time because they really did some unique and fantastic polishes. Dana and I decided to only showcase one vintage Halloween Streetwear for you all today, but to do some layering combos with the polish we chose! Hope you all enjoy!
For my vintage Halloween Streetwear, I chose Oct 31st. Oct 31st was the ultimate #1 polish on my wishlist for a few years and I never thought I would see the day where it would be mine. Well, a few weeks back it popped up on eBay and I bid my little heart out on it and finally it became mine =) Streetwear Oct 31st is a polish from back in the late 90's and it hasn't been sold in stores for over 10 years so it is super rare and if you own a bottle, consider yourself very lucky because it just doesn't show up often anymore. Oct 31st and I are now living happily ever after together.
Streetwear Oct 31st is an orange bar glitter in a clear base with little orange and black microglitters in there as well. It is best layered, so I chose 3 different layering combos for you all today. Being that it is such an old polish, I expected application to be a bit tricky but it was smooth as a whistle! I LOVE YOU OCT 31ST!! Now that I have that out of my system, hope you all enjoy the pictures! Keep in mind that every combo has only one coat of Oct 31st over the base color.
Don't forget to check out Dana's vintage Halloween Streetwear today over at Polished Claws Up!

China Glaze - Mummy May I
Happy Friday everyone!! Quick post today, I'm running late and am positively swamped with homework. Today I have for you guys China Glaze Mummy May I from China Glaze's 2010 Awakening collection. Awakening, in my opinion, was one of the best Halloween collections that China Glaze has done and all three polishes from this collection are fantastic! If you don't have these polishes in your collection and you are a huge fan of Halloween, I definitely suggest hunting them down.
China Glaze Mummy May I is a dark purple jelly with teeny tiny purple square glitter. Vampy colors are absolutely essential for Halloween and this polish definitely fits the bill! The formula was decent, nothing to write home about but no problems to speak of. It was a bit gritty, and next time I will probably use a coat of Gelous before my Seche Vite to smooth out the bumpiness. Overall, I am a huge fan of this polish and it is perfect for Halloween season!
It was a bit difficult to photograph as I didn't have any natural light so I hope I've captured it well enough for you guys. Here's 3 coats of China Glaze Mummy May I. Enjoy!
What do you guys think? Do you own any polishes from this collection?
And of course, don't forget about my Halloween Giveaway Spooktacular! You can tweet and Facebook about it daily to earn more entries!
Thanks for stopping by today! I am a bit behind on comments and I promise to catch up this weekend! Hope everyone has a splendid rest of their day and a fantastic start to their weekend =)

Revlon Top Speed LE Halloween 2012 - Wicked Star
Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is having a better morning than myself, I'm feeling a bit under the weather today. But never fear, I have another fantastic Halloween polish to share with you all today!
Today I have swatched Revlon Wicked Star from this year's LE Halloween collection. To be honest, this was the Halloween collection I was most excited for this year! Crazy, right? Especially considering I only wanted two colors from the collection. The reason why I was so stoked about these Revlons is because they are absolutely gorgeous shimmer polishes. If you are new around these parts, shimmer is my FAVORITE POLISH FINISH EVAR. I don't know what it is, I just have a huge penchant for shimmers so these Revlons were right up my alley.
Revlon Wicked Star is a grassy green packed with awesome light green shimmer. This polish just absolutely glows. I am quite obsessed with it and I never want to take it off. I will of course, to show off some of my other polishes but if it wasn't for blogging, I'd probably keep this on for quite awhile. It's not exactly the most Halloween-y green but since it's in a Halloween collection, so I'll take it! Plus the name, Wicked Star? LOVE!
The formula, however, leaves a bit to be desired. A great shimmer polish will usually have a a thin and watery formula to help those layers of shimmer shine through but Wicked Star was a tint bit thick. I tested this out on a nail wheel first and realized that I would need to do really thin coats to prevent a streaky shimmer. Next time I use this, I'll probably add a few drops of thinner to ease in application. Honestly not that big a deal but I figured it was worth mentioning. For the casual polisher, this probably would have been an easy 1-coater but since I was photographing, I did two thin coats.
So here's 2 thin coats of Revlon Wicked Star. Enjoy!

Del Sol - Trick or Treat
Good morning friends!! I hope you guys have been enjoying ogling the prizes in my giveaway. Day one of the giveaway was a huge success and I'm having so much fun reading all the things that you guys love about autumn and Halloween! If you haven't entered yet, don't forget to click the link in my sidebar and it will take you to my Halloween Giveaway Spooktacular!
Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled Halloween polishes =) Today I have for you such a fun polish, Del Sol Trick or Treat! It is a UV reactive polish which means it changes colors in the sun. Trick or Treat is an orange jelly polish packed with orange and green glitter. When it is exposed to sunlight, the orange jelly turns into a deep burgundy/brownish color! So cool right? I believe that this was released by Del Sol in 2010 as an LE Halloween polish. I still see this popping up on eBay and other online stores so it's not too hard to find.
Most other pictures I see of this polish, the darkened portion looks like a dark purple but since I did 4 coats of it to cover my nail lines, it's much more saturated and it looks brown in my pics. I think next time I will just suffer through the VNL and only do 2 coats so I can get more of the purple color from this. Either way, still cool and definitely an essential in my Halloween polish collection.
Here's 4 coats of Del Sol Trick or Treat, no topcoat. First two pictures are indoors, last two pictures are in full sunlight. Enjoy!
What do you guys think? Is it cool or too gimmicky? Do you have any UV-reactive polishes?
